The White Lotus Fashion Has Never Been So Shoppable

It’s a lesson in good resortwear …

The White Lotus, a show set at an elite, five-star resort in Thailand that follows the lives – and lies – of its privileged (and progressively unhinged) guests hasn’t been sparking as much conversation this season for its sartorial choices. And, while there are plenty of storylines being seeded to keep us suitably intrigued – the toxic female friendships, the sinister family dynamics and the presence of more than one grifter – the fashion is actually completely on top of its game.

While the fashion in season two of the Mike White-created black comedy-cum-thriller was chaotic, so far, for season three, the tone is bougie. Take, for instance, the character of Jaclyn, played by Michelle Monaghan (pictured, in the main image), who in episode one dons a Chanel chiffon gown, straight from the fashion house’s 2006 runway collection, as a beach cover-up over a terracotta one-piece by French brand Eres. We’re not sure if the vibe is quiet luxury so much as a maximalist fashion flex.

Meanwhile, the resort’s younger cohort are embracing the bohemian lifestyle – with a wardrobe to match. That’s not to say they’re doing things by halves. When it comes to Chelsea (played by Aimee Lou Wood, pictured above) the roster of brands on offer includes high-calibre designers such as Jacquemus for leopard print sunglasses and a holiday tote in zinging orange by JW Anderson. Chelsea’s red bikini is by luxury resortwear and swimwear brand Tara Matthews. Meanwhile, hawk-eyed viewers may have noticed the Fendi printed two-piece worn by French-Canadian former model Chloe, the new girlfriend of Greg, while lounging at the swimming pool. Speaking of loungewear, if the rotation of high-end yoga gear has also caught your attention, then add Italian brand Aditi to your wishlist: the blue patterned set worn by Kate (pictured above, far right), is from the label.

Lastly, as if we needed any more reason to covet a bamboo handle Gucci bag, seeing it on Parker Posey is a reminder of how much we desire one of these hero accessories. This one – the bamboo 1974 small top handle bag by Gucci – has a suitably 1970s leaning.
