Park Hotel Kenmare
“We wanted to create something that was truly of this place – where you leave feeling not just rested, but changed by where you’ve been,” explains Bryan Meehan of the new Landscape Spa at Park Hotel Kenmare, the design of which reflects the elements and literary tradition of Co Kerry. Created by Jo Nagasaka of Schemata Architects, Tokyo, an outdoor warm mineral Stone Bath is the centrepiece of the spa that includes five treatment rooms, a cold plunge, steam room, sauna, lap pool, fitness centre, and Pilates and yoga studio. Treatments by brands Susanne Kaufmann and Seabody are complemented by LED masks, lymphatic suits, light panels and IHHT. Alongside the spa are six new suites lined in Kilkenny limestone and oak, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out into the woodland and over Kenmare Bay. An overnight stay, including a spa treatment with breakfast the following morning, starts from €1,025 per room. @parkkenmare
