Your favourite qualities in a man T: Humour. God help a (straight) man who isn’t funny at the moment because let’s face it, they aren’t having a great decade. They need serious rebranding or at least a good PR. A: Manliness.
Your favourite qualities in a woman T: Intelligence. Smart women are very, very cool. A: Womanliness.
Your chief characteristic T: I think that is something for others to say about me and that would also depend on who you ask, so maybe Malleability. A: Craic.
What do you appreciate most in your friends T: Their unique take on life. A: Safety.
Your main fault T: I’m a bit of a dreamer. A: Impatience.

Your idea of misery T: I don’t like the cold, I’m like a cat always trying to get near heat. A: Global warming.

Your favourite authors T: I’m not a good reader. I have a mountain of books by my bed begging to be read. A: Eleanor Coppola.
Your favourite poet T: I don’t really know anything about poetry but Andrea Gibson’s work is beautiful. A: Poetry isn’t my thing.

Your favourite musical artist or composer T: Lisa O’Neill, her music brings me on such a journey, it’s like dreaming with your eyes open. I’m very interested in melancholy. A: Any opera. Also Kneecap – I love all that they are and all that they advocate for.
The principal aspect of your personality T: Melancholy (lol). A: Humour.
Your idea of good taste T: Simple lines, good quality textures, fabrics that are homespun. A: Less is more.
The quality I look for in my surroundings T: A place that is uncluttered. A: Simplicity and authenticity.
The country where I should like to live T: I’ve just returned from Japan. I visited a small city in the north called Kanazawa, it’s on the coast so accessible to the sea, it rains a lot which is slightly unfortunate but maybe why I liked it so much. I would love to have the time to go back and live there for a period of time to study indigo dyeing. A: Iceland.
