A tale of two cities …
Nicolas Ghesquière‘s contemporary collection at the Frick Museum in Manhattan presented a sartorial exchange between Paris and New York – the spirit of the Gilded Age given a fresh twist within the storied salons of The Frick Collection.
The collection blends American heritage with modern European style – jeans, jersey, leather – graffiti of passementerie or sequin embroidery and lace. A downtown wardrobe juxtaposed with an uptown setting.

The front row included ambassadors and friends of the fashion house like Zendaya and Cate Blanchett, sporting custom and runway pieces for the showcase. Other VIPs on the frow included Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Emma Stone, Alicia Vikander, Chase Infiniti, Chloë Sevigny, Hannah Einbinder and Bella Maclean.
