A closer look at the guests who made this year’s Gloss Gala a night to remember.
Last night, 1,680 guests gathered at the RDS for the biggest and most glamorous GLOSS Gala to date, a sparkling celebration marking 20 years of THE GLOSS.
Stylish guests enjoyed a drinks reception before taking their seats for an unforgettable evening of fashion, conversation, entertainment and celebration. In association with Goodbody, the evening was hosted by broadcaster Ciara Doherty and brought together readers, partners, industry leaders and friends of THE GLOSS for a night filled with memorable moments.
Among the highlights was a fascinating conversation featuring guest of honour Amanda Wakeley OBE, the internationally renowned fashion designer, alongside journalist, author and broadcaster Jo Elvin. Their warm, candid discussion on friendship, fashion, career reinvention and confidence was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Guests also enjoyed insights from Michelle O’Keefe, Head of Wealth Advisory at Goodbody, while a spectacular fashion show, sponsored by our catwalk partner Hyundai showcased some of the season’s most exciting looks from Louise Kennedy, Magee 1866, Elää, AndTate, Guaranteed Irish, Avoca and Khan.
Adding to the excitement was our biggest-ever luxury prize draw, with more than 455 prizes awarded on the night. From exclusive experiences and luxury stays to fashion, beauty and lifestyle treats, there were delighted winners throughout the room and plenty of surprises along the way. The final grand prize, a €5,000 voucher for Boodles was won by Clare Belton.
