Insider guides to Bodrum, Marbella, Portofino and Taormina …
All eyes are on New York as Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, presents Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2027 Collection at the Frick Museum on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
The choice of this historic museum, which is housed in one of New York‘s last great Gilded Age mansions, cements Louis Vuitton‘s commitment to the arts as principal cultural sponsor of The Frick Collection for the next three years. Beginning in June, it will also support free monthly Friday evenings. We recommend Siena: The Art of Bronze, 1450–1500, a new exhibition opening in October to January 2027.
Sailor, chef and poet Fatih Bas unveils Bodrum, while gallerist Isolina Arbulu takes readers through the streets of Marbella. Architect and designer Clara Bona, and artist Alessandro Florio, respectively recount their insider tips to Portofino and Taormina. The guides also provide an opportunity for artists Blexbolex, Brice Postma Uzel, Aline Zalko and Audrey Spiry to depict the charm of these Mediterranean hotspots in a series of illustrations highlighting landmarks and hidden gems. I’ve often referred to the guides for their discerning selection of charming hotels, neighbourhood bistros, popular markets, antiques dealers and boutiques.
Available from June 19, each City Guide Resort is available in French and English in Louis Vuitton stores or on louisvuitton.com priced at €25. A set of four luggage tags for each of the four destinations is stored in an expandable pocket at the end of the book.
