Next-Level – Feeling Fresh in Frascati

Self-care, stylish sales and sleek salons …

Everyone’s first post-Covid pamper should be carried out in the expert hands of a mannerly manicurist, or the welcoming warm, clean conditions of your preferred coiffeur. It should be straightforward – no extraneous Covid-related concerns. Complete your checklist and relax, with competent and comfortable care.

Even better, if your appointment could take place high above the hustle, bustle and burden of Covid concerns. Everybody needs to feel that they can pull up, pop in and head off, with the usual ease. Frascati is a space which sets this up for their visitors.

Peter Mark

Parking at Frascati could not be more convenient, nor better value – only €2 for three hours’. Skip the endless circling around the village, and make use of the handy late-night shopping hours on Thursdays and Fridays. Ascend the freshly-installed escalators in Frascati and find a one-stop shop for beauty and body on the generously spacious and airy First Floor.

Sugar Daddy

Catch a coffee in Kay’s or Café Nero, ahead of your booking with any one of the many grooming gurus who now open their doors alongside one another on the First Floor. See Sugar Daddy barber and shave services for the chaps, Sugar Coated beauty and nail experts to fix the bristly or chipped, and Peter Mark hair salon for the long-awaited chop and fresh colour. What more could one want?

Each of these teams will be gowned and masked to provide you with the same hands-on experience as before, just with a new hygienic routine. Clear screens are now provided between in each station in Peter Mark to keep you and your hairdresser protected and comfortable.

Sugar Coated provides an immersive experience – be it brows, or nails, or lashes, or tan – in its sweet setting, complete with plush cushions and friendly professionals. Go for the Sugared Manicure (€40) which includes a gentle and fresh-scented sugar-based exfoliating treatment for your hands, as well as the perfect buff and polish. Or go for a glow without the getaway – Sugar Coated serves spray tanning from €20.

Frascati also newly hosts SISU Aesthetics Skin Clinic. Dr. Brian Cotter and his SISU team are in demand and busy offering their full range of skincare, injectables and teeth whitening procedures. Set up a free 30-minute consultation with one of their doctors, to answer any aesthetic questions you might have.

So too will you find a new, multi-clinician purpose-built clinic, thanks to the collaboration of Blackrock Medical Centre and Centric Health, on the First Floor. Dr John Redmond has moved from the original practice in Frascati Park, and its range of services now available includes nutritional guidance, physiotherapy and podiatry.

At Frascati, the space is calm, open and airy. The wide walkways allow for distance between yourself and your fellow shoppers, the outlets themselves retain their private nature.

Head downstairs and pick up any necessities before you go. Helpful for healthcare and cosmetics, Pure Pharmacy is now open while Boots continues to provide its extensive range of essentials and beauty brands. Pop into The Health Store for health foods and all-natural needs, or M&S for delicious healthy dinner inspo.

Making a return from lockdown are treasured Blackrock boutiques Serena, Pamela Scott, Carl Scarpa and Vienna Shoes. These stylish stores are opening their doors once again in Frascati, offering their unique ranges, with fantastic summer sales to help equip customers with the right post-Covid wardrobe.

Nothing beats a real-life bookshop browse, and with Bookstation on the Ground Floor of Frascati you can easily pick up a new pageturner, for yourself or a loved one. Try out a bestseller like Marian Keyes’ Grown Ups, or delve into one of Bookstation’s new releases – such as Catching The Worm by William C Campbell.

Whatever you need to tick off, pick up, or check out, you will find it in Frascati – freshly refurbished and ready for your visit.
