A Caring Skincare Edit For All Women

Irish skincare line SKN TO SKN’s new edit with Laura Whitmore …

Irish skincare line SKN TO SKN, founded by Sara Stokes, is designed for women at all stages of pregnancy and motherhood, through to the menopause. Backed by dermatologist Prof Caitriona Ryan, this range aims to simplify your skin routine at this stage of life. They’ve just launched a new collaboration with Irish broadcaster Laura Whitmore.

The Laura Whitmore x SKN TO SKN Edit (€120) is a streamlined, three-step routine, in a neat washbag. It brings together three products from the collection: gel-to-oil cleanser, tinted SPF moisturiser and serum, all designed to support the skin through the hormonal shifts during pregnancy, when it can be tricky to find products you’re sure are safe to use, while also being effective. “Pregnancy comes with enough unknowns,” says Whitmore. “Your skincare shouldn’t be one of them.”

5 Pregnancy Beauty Tips:

Strip it back: “I’ve stopped overloading my skin. Pregnancy isn’t the time for a complicated routine, a few well-chosen products that actually work makes all the difference.”

A multi-tasking SPF is non-negotiable: “I’ve been using the tinted SPF from SKN TO SKN – it gives your skin that healthy, smooth glow while keeping it hydrated and protected, so you don’t feel like you need anything else.”

Prioritise hydration over everything else: “My skin gets so much drier during pregnancy, so I focus on keeping it really well hydrated, that’s when it looks and feels its best.”

Be ready to switch things up: “Your skin changes constantly, so what works one week might not the next. I’ve learned not to stick rigidly to one routine.”

Don’t chase perfection: “I’ve let go of trying to ‘fix’ everything, it’s more about supporting your skin and letting it do its thing.” @skntoskn
