One of the biggest highlights of the SS23 shows was model Kate Moss sashaying down Matthieu Blazy’s Bottega Veneta catwalk in a casual, logo-less checked shirt, tank top and low-slung baggy jeans. Apparently Blazy was inspired by “characters on the go” and the “perverse banality of everyday dressing”. Others, like Totême, The Row, Valentino and Ferragamo, also embraced comfortable everyday dressing with slouchier silhouettes, softer fabrics and lower hemlines than last season. A focus on simplicity and comfort is also low-key beauty routines which make mornings a lot simpler.
