What To Wear This Week: Tweed Blazers And Jeans, Plus The Colour Of The Moment

The coolest suiting, the colour of the moment, plus how to upgrade your jeans and T-shirt outfits, we love these looks …

Have you sorted your winter coat yet? We think a double-breasted coat is effortless and elegant. Shop our outerwear edit here.

Got a dressy event coming up? Rewear your favourite dress but upgrade your accessories. A dramatic bow is just right for this time of year.

A tweed blazer, a white shirt and a 90s-inspired shoulder bag is the combination we could easily wear on repeat all winter.

Banish any corporate notions associated with grey suiting – a slouchy grey suit feels ultra luxe. Bonus points if you choose one with a trendy pinstripe. Our advice? Ditch the stilettos and pair yours with loafers or kitten heels. Read our full guide to this season’s suiting here.

Speaking of suiting, we’re adding a tweed two-piece from wardrobe whisperer Sarah Corbett Winder’s new brand Kipper to our wish list.

The season isn’t all about grey however, tones of brown are very now, nodding to brands like Prada and Loro Piana. It’s not just about high-end labels though, see style influencer Monikh wearing shades of brown from Marks & Spencer, pictured.

A cropped jacket has versatility – as seen on Irish style influencer Louise Byrne who has an eye for pared-back but luxurious pieces. Shop the look at COS and Massimo Dutti.

Nothing to wear? A bohemian midi dress paired with knee-high boots is always a winner.

Act casual: fail-safe jeans and a white tee get an edge when worn with a pair of cowboy ankle boots. These ones from Zara are a good investment for under €100.

A grey V-neck cardigan is the perfect accompaniment for jeans when off-duty dressing or, for something a little more extra, an ankle-grazing skirt.
