For the finale: The White Lotus on NOW TV
Another season of Mike White’s slick, stylish, satirical series is over once again … and we’re still reeling. It was a slow burner, but that’s the point as the creator said on The White Lotus official podcast, “There was complaining about how there’s no plot, and that part I find weird because it never had a plot. Part of me is just like, bro, this is the vibe. I’m world-building.”
Here are some of our other favourites …

For crime lovers: Your Friends and Neighbours on Apple TV
Jon Hamm (who we know and love from Mad Men, The Morning Show and Bridesmaids), Amanda Peet and Olivia Munn bounce off each other as – you guessed it – friends and neighbours in this crime dramedy set in a New York suburb. The story follows a hedgefund manager (Hamm) who’s fired in disgrace, so he resorts to stealing from his wealthy neighbours’ homes … only to discover secrets that may be even more sinister than his! It’s being hailed as radically different to anything we’ve seen before, so we’re fittingly intrigued.

For a tech-noir thrill: Black Mirror on Netflix
Black Mirror has returned for season 7 and, unsurprisingly, the list of stars in each episode is remarkable. The tech-noir commentary has left us shaken after each and every season, so we expect no less from the latest installment – especially with the rise in Gen Z online nightmares (Adolesence, anyone?) and the advancement in AI. The list of stars involved in this season features Chris O’Dowd, Rashida Jones, Emma Corrin, Paul Giammetti, and more. See more about the episodes here.

For interiors enthusiasts: Parisian Agency – Exclusive Properties on Netflix
See the hots or nots of French interiors to fill the Four Seasons Thailand hole in your heart. From Parisian townhouses and a five-star penthouse to a Château, the homes in season 5 are more extravagant than ever. As the Kretz family navigate work dynamics amid the competitive real estate market, they escort prospective buyers to bigger and more lavish homes than anything you’ve ever seen before. Think: a private island in Brittany and the former home of a King. It certainly hammers home the point that money doesn’t always buy taste!

For cinephiles: The Studio on Apple TV
Seth Rogan’s taking over the small screen with his new comedy series, starring as a newly appointed head of a Hollywood production studio. Hilarity ensues as he attempts to save the struggling company as it navigates an industry undergoing rapid social and economic changes. Catherine Harris and Kathryn Hahn will have you laughing and the dynamic of Rogan and his team shows the genius of a great comedy screenplay. Many episodes are shot in one take (a true art as we saw in Adolescence), keeping us all on our toes and emulating the stress of the job at hand, as things go from bad to worse. Allow us to name drop the all-star cast, including Olivia Wilde, Kathryn Hahn, Zac Efron, Anthony Mackie, Bryan Cranston, and more. The perfect, light-hearted watch, with guaranteed laughs.

Gangster’s Paradise: Dope Thief on Apple TV
With a heavyweight cast, this show is already receiving rave reviews and will have you on the edge of your seat like The White Lotus. The story follows lifelong friends who rob a house, only to have their small-time grift become a life-and-death enterprise as they stumble upon a hidden narcotics corridor on the Eastern Seaboard. If you liked Narcos, Breaking Bad or Ozark, this is for you.

Mini Series Fix: The Au Pair on Prime Video
This four-part series provides gripping viewing as you wonder what to do with yourself now that The White Lotus is finished. Filmed in the Cotswolds in the UK and starring Sally Bretton, David Suchet and Ludilla Makowski, a wealthy family’s mysterious au pair (played by Ludilla Makowski) who spins a web of lies and secrets that might shatter everything.

At Last: The Last Of Us on NOW TV
Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey return in this Emmy-winning dystopian thriller that terrified us all in the first season. Staying true to the video game that the show’s based on, we pick up five years later, where the characters are in very different places to where we left them in their post-apocalyptic world. We know from interviews that the two weren’t together for a lot of filming (weep); meaning there’ll be a lot more Odyssean adventures trying to get back together again. If you haven’t watched the first season yet, we highly recommend you catch up.
