These are the most popular shows on Netflix worldwide for 2024 so if you haven’t watched them, now is the time to do so …
Number one on the list is Fool Me Once – Michelle Keegan evidently captured all of our attention, and her fashion did too! There has been a total of 107,500,000 views – what is one more going to hurt? Watch it this weekend if you haven’t seen it yet.
Bridgerton: Season 3, of course had to be at the top and it is in second place. We saw this coming – Nicola Coughlan was a marvel. Bridgerton Season 1 and 2 come in eleventh and twelfth place so it is clear the world truly is in awe of this beautiful world they have created. Stay tuned for Season 4 which has just started filming.
Baby Reindeer is the third most-watched show on Netflix for 2024 so far. We were all glued to the screens at Richard Gadd’s stranger than fiction story and were delighted to see the show picking up some Emmys, including Lead Actor, Supporting Actress for Jessica Gunning’s marvellous performance as Martha, and an Emmy for writing.
The Gentleman is next – we loved this too and we have to mention Stuart Carolan, the show’s brilliant producer, who was also the creator of Love/Hate. A show of mystery, class and intrigue. Plus style.
Griselda is sixth – and if you didn’t catch this Narcos-esque train at the time, you should do this September. It was an edge-of-your-seat watch and shows the wonderful Sofía Vegara in a whole new light.
One Day – the one that had us all in floods of tears comes in tenth place and that is no surprise. The story of Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew captured our hearts (again – a wonderful follow up to the Anna Hathaway film) in this limited-series and we couldn’t get enough. 39,400,000 views will prove that to you.
A Very Epic Weekend Watchlist

A Very Royal Scandal on Prime Video
New on Prime Video this week: You thought you had seen enough with Scoop last year, but this mini-series is coming soon and Micheal Sheen is having his turn in the role of Prince Andrew. A shocking moment in the public eye there is no doubt. The three-part drama offers a different take on the interview, compared to Scoop, taking a deep dive into the events leading up to the interview in the perspective of Emily Maitlis, who will be played by Ruth Wilson. Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Mendenez Story on Netflix
Out on Netflix now Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s true-crime anthology series is back again, following the success of Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Mendenez Story mini-series chronicles the lives of the real-life brothers who were convicted in 1996 for the murders of their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Mendendez. Although the prosecution argued that they were seeking to inherit their family fortune, the brothers claimed and remain steadfast to this day, as they serve their lifetime sentences, that their actions stemmed from a lifetime of fear and abuse at the hands of their parents. This story paved the way for modern-day audiences’ fascination with true-crime – and it still begs the question: who are the real monsters? Starring the hypnotising acting talents of Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny, as parents José and Kitty Mendendez, with Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Cooper Koch starring as Lyle and Erik.
