These louche flats come endorsed by some stylish A-listers …
Mastering off-duty dressing is no easy feat. Which is why, when it comes to SS26‘s top shoe trends, we’re intrigued by the revival of the slipper. Worn by the likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Hailey Bieber, the louche footwear style is a go-to for that just-rolled-out-of-bed look that’s so idolised in the fashion world right now. But what is the look exactly? Part mule, part (outdoor) slipper, these styles aren’t exclusively backless – some take the form of a leather slipper, others are akin to a very slim, satin ballerina, often with a square toe – but the general vibe is if they could pass for house shoes, hotel slippers, or something you might run to the car in, then they cut the mustard.
