The Best Luxury Pyjamas To Buy Now

Take comfort in these chic sleepwear additions that celebrate everyday luxury and bring slow mornings to the next level …

We’ve all become obsessed with how much sleep we’re getting (or not getting). Increasingly mindful of the detrimental effects of a poor night’s sleep, we’re spritzing our pillows with lavender, avoiding late afternoon coffees and banning screens from the bedroom. Sleep accoutrements make elegant and thoughtful gifts, whether it’s for others or yourself. A pair of luxurious silk pyjamas from Irish brand The Ethical Silk Company, a decadent robe from Olivia Von Halle or some chic pyjamas from sustainable sleepwear brand Honna are all long-lasting luxuries you might never usually buy yourself but will use for ever. Shop our edit of luxury loungewear below.

Honna London

If you’re seeking something understated and classic, choose Honna London. The brand’s pyjamas are 100 per cent organic cotton and finished with a neat white piping trim. They also come influencer-approved, thanks to their always-appealing striped pattern.

Olivia Von Halle

A luxury sleepwear round-up wouldn’t be complete without British brand Olivia Von Halle. This season the brand has launched The Cosmic Collection, using the finest silks and exquisitely unique prints. Drawing inspiration from the abstract canvases of Georgia O’Keefe, Hilma af Klint and Emma Kunz, this latest offering brims with psychedelic hues and painterly prints. Decadent weekend dressing at its best.

The Ethical Silk Company

Irish brand The Ethical Silk Company makes fabulous silk pyjamas, robes and sleep accessories. Offering beautiful, practical and timeless pieces of luxury sleepwear, loungewear and bedding, the brand creates each piece in Jaipur, India with a Fairtrade factory partner using mulberry silk – an ethical fabric that is sometimes referred to as ‘Peace Silk’. The classic piped ivory style with navy piping is our top pick, but there are also beautiful block-printed patterns available too.

Moon & Mellow

Irish sleepwear label Moon & Mellow is all about everyday luxury, describing itself as a fit for those who are “lovers of bed, great sleeps and dreaming big”. One such piece is the brand’s house coat, an update on a classic quilted robe that would work just as well for outside (in fine weather) as it does inside: the perfect piece for the lazy dresser.

Rixo

With a theme of femininity and romance, the fifth loungewear range from Rixo focuses on vintage silhouettes and nightgowns so good you can wear them for the morning croissant run. Think puffed sleeves, toggle fastenings and hand-painted carnation prints, however our favourite detail has to be the pink rosebuds which daintily finish lace-trimmed tops and nightdresses: perfectly nostalgic. www.rixolondon.com.

Nufferton

Stockholm brand Nufferton takes sleepwear as ready-to-wear one step further; each unisex pyjama set features a rounded Peter Pan collar and tapered trousers. Our favourite? The limited edition Uno Stripe set in terracotta and peach, pictured above. From €160 at Nufferton.com.
