Expect to see these trends everywhere come spring …
The Feathered Skirt
Brands such as Chanel, Bottega Veneta and Altuzarra went big on texture for SS26, with artisanal touches, such as fringing and feathering, reigning supreme. The mood was a celebration of excellent craftsmanship. Standing out from the crowd are feathered skirts, as seen at Chanel, above; a decadent look which certainly has parlance at Christmas time. One style we favour is Louise Kennedy’s navy Kamari skirt which is embellished with feathers and beads, while Toteme’s occasion skirt is adorned with petals which mimic the sway of feathers.
White, With A Twist

Designers leaned into white outfits that have a sense of edge with splashes of black, across key looks at Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein Collection and Ralph Lauren. Fans of the quiet luxury aesthetic will love how this trend leans into clean lines and simple shapes. Get in on the look now by embracing these minimal party outfits.
Napoleon Jackets
A throwback to the 2010s and the Indie Sleaze aesthetic – loved and worn by the likes of Kate Moss and Alexa Chung – Napoleon jackets are seeing a revival for SS26. Championed at Alexander McQueen, Dior and Kenzo, the cropped, military jacket is best worn true to the original look – with a great pair of jeans. (Or, for a haute bohemian look, wear one over your party dress.) As for the jacket, it’s the perfect opportunity to buy pre-loved. Seek out a style on Vinted or eBay.
All About The Slingback

Classic, point-toe slingbacks, in a nod to traditional glamour, are seeing a resurgence. And, while slingbacks are always in style, fashion has doubled down on the heel for the season ahead. Heel heights might vary – from slingbacks at Gucci to vertiginous styles at Saint Laurent – but the memo is that the right pair can transform your entire look. Tap into the trend now by teaming a point-toe heel with a pair of great silk-satin trousers for party dressing.
