After a successful week of private shopping appointments and click and collect, boutiques and retailers nationwide are finally opening their doors for business from May 17 – here’s what you need to know …
Brown Thomas
From Monday May 17, all Brown Thomas and BT2 stores will re-open fully with no requirement to pre-book. Brown Thomas Dublin is in full bloom as the front of the building is adorned with an incredible fresh flower installation which can also be spotted on landmarks around the city centre including the Phil Lynott statue on Harry Street and the Molly Malone statue. In store, customers can expect new pop-ups from brands including Marc Jacobs, Anya Hindmarch and JW Anderson. Beauty customers will be first in line to virtually try on cosmetics with the Beauty Hall’s innovative virtual beauty mirror – the first of its kind in Ireland at Brown Thomas Dublin.
Arnotts
At Arnotts, customers will discover an array of new brands, pop-ups and installations. On First Level, See by Chloé will see a dedicated pop-up space for customers to browse and shop the line-up of the brand’s signature ready-to-wear and accessories for the first time in-store. While The Circular Room, in partnership with Designer Exchange, re-opens on Second Level. Arnotts Henry Street is open to customers from Monday May 17 with no need to book in advance.
Kildare Village
Kildare Village reopened its door this morning welcoming guests back to shopping in an open-air environment that puts safety at the heart of the experience. Kildare Village welcomes four new fashion brands, Pinko, Zadig & Voltaire, Skechers and Gym + Coffee, along with Murphy’s Ice-Cream, this summer, as well as a new Personal Shopping Team headed up by Clara Halpin, Deputy Director for Private & Personal Shopping. Kildare Village is now open Monday – Sunday (9am – 9pm).
Havana
Nikki Creedon and her team are ready to roll with a newly curated a collection of beautiful labels: think Simone Rocha, Rick Owens, The Vampire’s Wife and Ulla Johnson. Doors will be fully open again from May 17. Email info@havanaboutique.ie or call 01 2602707 to book in.
Beautiful South

Seagreen

Jenny’s clever team have been working hard and dedicated the Dunshaughlin store (just until June 1) completely to occasion wear and mother of the bride/groom and wedding guests alike. Avoca has just launched a full fashion offering on its website: www.avoca.com. With labels like Fabienne Chapot, Custommade, Maison Labiche, and Maison Scotch, it is a really strong, well-priced edit. The best thing about the site? A filter that enables you to search by fabric type (for example, organic cotton, silk blend etc). Bravo, Avoca! Fashion departments within Avoca stores will reopen from Monday May 17.
Samui
Cork boutique Samui will reopen once again from Monday May 17. New seasons drops from brands including Cecilie Bahnsen, Castanea and Dries Van Noten will be waiting for you on the shop floor, with Clodagh Shorten and her team more than willing to show you around. @samuicork
