The third annual charity luncheon for a good cause …
This year’s luncheon in support of Barretstown, the charity founded by actor Paul Newman that provides life-changing therapeutic camps and programmes for children affected by serious illness, was hosted by Arthur Gourounlian.
A silent auction and raffle offered exclusive prizes including designer fashion, art pieces and luxe experiences, all kindly donated by supporters.
A highlight of the afternoon was the Enchanted Forest Tombola, inviting guests to sponsor a native Irish tree in Barretstown’s woodland, with each donation entered into a draw to win a Bicester Village luxury escape for two thanks to Kildare Village.
The special event concluded with the announcement of the Most Stylish Guest, who won corporate hospitality tickets to the Irish Derby at The Curragh.
Organised by committee Tara O’Connor, Aurelija Fetherston, Alice Merrigan-Hinde, Mairead English, Crona Byrne and Mary Dooley, the luncheon raised vital funds to help Barretstown continue providing free, medically endorsed programmes for children and families affected by cancer and other serious illnesses. Guests included Dee Ahearn, Jess Colivet, Marietta Doran, Kwanele Nomoyi and Micheal Fitzpatrick.
