The Curragh Racecourse will once again take centre stage this summer as it hosts the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival from Friday to Sunday, June 26-28. One of Ireland’s most anticipated summer sporting and social occasions, the three-day festival combines world-class racing with fashion, live entertainment, hospitality and family-friendly experiences, creating a unique celebration that attracts visitors from across Ireland and beyond.
Set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most historic racecourses, the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival has evolved into much more than a racing event. Today, it’s a vibrant showcase of contemporary Irish culture where sport, style, music and social experiences come together over an unforgettable weekend.

The weekend begins on Friday, June 26, with an exciting evening of racing and a live performance from The Whistlin’ Donkeys, setting the tone for a lively night.
Saturday, June 27, brings one of the festival’s most anticipated style events: The K Club’s Most Stylish Racegoer competition. Alongside top-class racing, the day has become a favourite among fashion lovers, with racegoers embracing the opportunity to showcase their creativity and personal style. This year, singer-songwriter Una Healy joins The K Club on Derby Saturday to judge this prestigious contest. Una will be seeking out those who’ve wholeheartedly embraced this year’s dreamy theme of 1950’s race-day style. Think timeless tailoring, soft pastels and effortless elegance.
The festival reaches its climax on Sunday, June 28, with Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Day. While Ireland’s most iconic Flat race remains the centrepiece, attention will also turn to the highly anticipated Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Best Dressed Competition. Presenter, podcaster and entrepreneur Vogue Williams will lead the judging panel, on the lookout for standout style as racegoers compete for a luxury Dubai prize package on one of Ireland’s most fashionable sporting days. “I’ll be looking for energy, fun and a touch of personality. I love having an excuse to get dressed up, and fashion and style are passions of mine that I really enjoy.”
Following the Derby, celebrations continue with a live performance from The Tumbling Paddies, providing the perfect finale.
