Drs Mulrooney celebrate two decades of their cosmetic dermatology clinic …
Sisters and co-founders Dr Katherine and Dr Jane Mulrooney celebrated a milestone – 20 years of their groundbreaking cosmetic dermatology clinic, the Dr Mulrooney Clinic on Eglinton Road, Dublin 4 – with an intimate lunch event at Restaurant Patrick Guibaud in Dublin.
In the private dining room, the event began with the Drs Mulrooney reminiscing about their beginnings in the business, and the inspiration of their father, marine scientist Patrick Mulrooney, who created Seavite to help relieve the eczema they both struggled with as children. The sisters are proud to have focused entirely on aesthetics for two decades. Rather than “doctor-led”, the clinic is “doctor only”, and the focus is always on optimising skin health. “Healthy skin will always be in fashion,” notes Dr Katherine.
The menu was full of seasonal delights, from grilled scallop with walnut oil, foie gras crumble and tamarind, to roast monkfish with a light curry sauce, and a dessert of warm Gariguette strawberry-soaked elderflower brioche. Not to mention the plates of dazzling petits-fours.
Guests included THE GLOSS Beauty Editor Sarah Halliwell, Jess Colivet, Sonya Lennon, Marian Keyes, Celia Holman Lee and more.
