Chefs, food lovers and guests gathered for a foodie weekend …
One of Ireland’s premier foodie events, Ballymaloe Festival of Food is held annually every May across a wonderful weekend of cooking demonstrations, pop-up dinners, guided walks, talks, workshops and tastings, celebrating the very best of Irish and international food.
Festival Director Bree Allen, Rory O’Connell of Ballymaloe Cookery School and Cllr Eamonn Horgan, deputising for Cork County Mayor, celebrated the annual event at Ballymaloe Grainstore at Ballymaloe House Hotel in the coastal village of Shanagarry in East Cork. Early bird tickets for Ballymaloe Festival of Food 2027 are already available, which proves its enduring popularity.
