The best of what’s new to Netflix in November …
Now that the evenings are drawing in – and our Succession binge is coming to an end – we are desperately in need of new fodder for our evening watching routine. Thankfully, Netflix has announced a host of original documentaries, new TV shows and films to fill up your November.
Catching Killers
A must-watch for any true crime fans, Catching Killers goes beyond the tape to the investigators who worked on some of the most notorious serial killer cases on record. Expect chilling details by the bucket load. Available now.
Tiger King 2
Does the world really need a sequel to Tiger King? Apparently, yes. There are even more twists and turns in the story of Joe Exotic and the second season digs further into the mystery – and the madness. Available from November 17.
Passing
A must-watch for those who read and loved The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett, Passing stars Irish-Ethiopian actress Ruth Negga alongside a cast that includes Tessa Thompson, Bill Camp, Gbenga Akinnagbe and Alexander Skarsgard. It tells the story of a black woman who reunites with a childhood friend and soon becomes fascinated by her life when she realises she’s passing as white. Available from November 10.
The Unlikely Murderer
Garnering comparisons to David Fincher’s Zodiac and starring Mikael Persbrandt of Sex Education fame, The Unlikely Murderer hones in on the murder of Swedish prime minister Olof Palme, who was assassinated on a Stockholm street in February 1986. More precisely, it focuses on the witness who may, in fact, have committed the perfect crime. Available now.
