The Westbury, Dublin
Boodles has partnered with The Westbury for a special afternoon tea experience honouring the 25th anniversary of their iconic Raindance collection. Served in The Gallery overlooking Dublin’s Grafton Street, the afternoon tea includes an exquisite selection of sandwiches and scones along with five miniature handmade desserts, each reflecting the delicate designs of Raindance 25. I particularly liked the White Chocolate and Raspberry Crémeux, a velvety white chocolate and raspberry cream centre with crunchy raspberry chips on a sablé, topped with silver and rose gold chocolate pearls.

The College Green Hotel Dublin
“Our new Literary Afternoon Tea Experience is a beautiful blend of storytelling and gastronomy, set in one of the city’s most atmospheric spaces, the Atrium Lounge, ” explains Joanne Dillon, General Manager. Each savoury and sweet item on the menu is inspired by an author or literary moment, such as Wilde’s Guinness-cured salmon or Heaney’s spiced apple creation that evokes the poet’s rural roots and lyrical warmth. There’s also a playful reference to Ulysses with Sweny’s Lemon Soap. The tea reflects the hotel’s literary links, especially with MoLI. Its swish two-storey Library Suites also honour literary icons such as Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw, Samuel Beckett and WB Yeats.
