Val Forde, Communications & PR Director at Kildare Village, welcomed guests and fashion editors to a special showcase inspired by the spring trend of dopamine dressing. 

The event was held in The Apartment at Kildare Village, with special guests designer Michael Stewart, who flew in from showing at London Fashion Week, and artist Claire Prouvost whose work is on display in Kildare Village as part of its collaboration with The Minaw Collective.

Attendees included content creators Louise Cooney and Niamh O’Sullivan, as well as Amanda Ade, Creative Director of Black and Irish, and Dee Ahern, CEO of Barretstown.

Over fresh juices and canapés, guests enjoyed an exclusive showcase of Michael Stewart’s Standing Ground SS23 collection, inspired by the Irish landscape and heritage. The Clare-born designer was the recipient of Kildare Village’s inaugural fashion bursary to attend the Royal College of Art in London from 2015 to 2017.

There was also a fashion show, introduced by Clara Halpin, Deputy Director of Personal Shopping, featuring collections from a variety of luxury brands including Missoni, Armani, Bash and Maje, as well as Irish brands Aoife McNamara and Paul Costelloe. The looks were styled by the Personal Shopping team at Kildare Village, including stylists Jess Colivet, Sinéad Kelly, Anne O’Shea and Cathy O’Connor.
