Cue: New York brand Margaux – its collaboration with fellow New Yorkers Alex Mill (a clothing brand that specialises in noteworthy coats and knits) delivers on just that. Already being worn by some of the coolest dressers in the city – see editor Chelsea Zalopany and stylist Christina Holevas – the collection consists of espresso suede flats, satin kitten heels and classic point-toe boots.
