We’ve just found our new events look …
We’ve already waxed lyrical about the slip dress trend, but there’s another type of dress that’s about to steal the limelight – and it’s got event dressing written all over it. Satin midi-dresses may just be spring’s slinkiest trend that feels a little bit relaxed too. Maybe it’s because the sleeves are long (see the iterations from the Ghost archive collection and Sir the Label, below) – the dresses have a slightly slouchy feel. Or the fact that the dresses are such a statement in themselves, you’ll have little to worry about for the rest of your look. We can already see these being excellent wedding guest attire – wear with a boxy blazer and pin a corsage to your lapel for extra interest.
