THE GLOSS Playlist: Up-And-Coming Irish Artists To Follow

Bookmark these upcoming shows of Irish artists making waves at home and abroad, plus save our playlist of new music …

SPRINTS @sprintsmusic

Formed in 2019, SPRINTS are a raw, garage-punk four piece from Dublin, fronted by Karla Chubb (vocals/guitar), with Sam McCann (bass/vocals), Jack Callan (drums) and Zac Stephenson (guitar). Their second album, All That Is Over, is out now and they will play Vicar Street on November 20 before embarking on their North American tour in early 2026.

FLORENCE ROAD @florence.road

Four-piece indie rock band (Lily Aron on vocals, Emma Brandon on guitar, Ailbhe Barry bass and Hannah Kelly drums) from Wicklow blending emotional lyrics with grunge-pop and alt-rock sounds. Their debut mixtape Fall Back dropped in June, before a busy summer which saw them tour with Sombr and open for Olivia Rodrigo. Beg, borrow or steal tickets (figuratively!) for their sold-out headline show at The Academy on November 30.

BULLPEN @bullpenmusic

Rising stars on the music scene, indie-rock duo Bullpen (formerly The Malefactors) are ones to watch. With frontwoman Lucille O’Mahony on vocals and Wren Colville on drums, the pair co-write their songs with new music coming soon.

LEMONCELLO @lemoncello___

Laura Quirke (vocals/guitar) and Claire Kinsella (cello/vocals) of Lemoncello have garnered attention with their blend of Irish folk roots with offbeat indie-pop, jazz, and classical flourishes. They have opened for artists including Lisa O’Neill and Glen Hansard.
