From Kate Moss to Alexa Chung and Victoria Beckham, these outfits piqued our interest …
Alexa Chung’s Off-Duty Outerwear
Instagram @alexachung.
When she isn’t sitting on the front row for Jonathan Anderson’s first couture show at Dior, Alexa Chung is embracing a nostalgic 2000s trend by wearing a skinny striped scarf with a navy double-breasted coat, plus a bottle-green baseball cap and jeans.
Dua Lipa’s Chanel Skirt-Suit
Instagram @dualipa.
If there was an embodiment of living your best life, perhaps it was Dua Lipa at Matthieu Blazy’s debut couture show for Chanel. Clad in an electric animal print skirt-suit and two-tone heels, chatting with Anna Wintour and hobnobbing with fellow show-goers A$AP Rocky, Penélope Cruz and Nicole Kidman, Lipa was every inch the fashion starlet.
Connor Storrie’s Le Smoking Moment
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have heard the hype about Heated Rivalry – the enemies-to-lovers TV series set in the world of Canadian ice hockery that has rocked the zeitgiest – and it’s no surprise that the show’s cast have quickly become the darlings of the fashion world, popping up at parties for both men’s and couture fashion weeks in Paris. (Does it help that the actors boast jawlines that could have been cut from marble? Why, yes.) Connor Storrie, who plays Ilya Rozanov on the hit show, appeared at The Golden Globes in a YSL black suit and skinny tie that nodded to the classic Le Smoking tuxedo jacket, accessorising it with a Bird On A Rock brooch, a famous design from Tiffany & Co created by Jean Schlumberger: chic.
Victoria Beckham’s Long Black Dress
Instagram @victoriabeckham.
When Victoria Beckham was named a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture she received the honour in a body-skimming black gown that owned the room (and partied with some of fashion’s most fabulous names, including Edward Enninful, Jo Ellison and Helena Christensen, as well as actress Demi Moore).
Kate Moss Revives The Wrap Skirt
Nobody makes an entrance quite like Kate Moss and each time the supermodel attends a YSL show the looks seem to get better, undoubtedly as Moss’s personal style chimes so perfectly with the brand’s coiffured take on rock and roll. For the brand’s couture SS26 show, Moss wore a simple black camisole and leather wrap skirt, topped off with a glamorous faux fur, making a case for an all-black look (not that we needed it).
