The Best Beauty Looks At The Emmys 2025

Old World glamour is in …

This year’s Emmy Awards saw familiar faces (and some new kids on the block) show up in all their finery to celebrate the best new series in Tinseltown. Scroll for the beauty looks we loved …

Standout stars wore red like actress and singer Selena Gomez, who was nominated for best actress in hit series Only Murders in The Building. Gomez’s go-to artist Hung Vanngo opted for a slicked back ’60s style with matte skin and peachy tones – the marriage between face and dress exquisite. Soon-to-be married life suits her!

Another starlet rocking a shade of red was Euphoria‘s Hunter Schafer, stunning in Alexander McQueen. Make-up artist Carolina Dali paired a glowy look with an old Hollywood blowout, while co-star Sydney Sweeney donned a custom Oscar de la Renta scarlet crepe-back satin gown, with natural skin and a soft pink lip.

Emmy winner for best actress in Severance, Britt Lower was arguably one of the most captivating looks of the evening. Her smart cropped auburn hair looked effortlessly chic against her glassy skin. Kudos to make-up artist Zoe Taylor who understood the assignment, complementing her Calvin Klein dress perfectly.

Michelle Williams and make-up artist Angela Levin’s theme for the night was “Sea of Light” – capturing a fresh, bright look that the Dying for Sex star is famous for. Her white vintage Chanel gown matched her Hamilton director husband’s white tux jacket with black trousers and tie, making them the perfect couple in our eyes.

The White Lotus and Blackpink star Lisa dazzled on the carpet in an illusion Lever tulle couture dress that appeared to float on her figure, with her satin skin and pink glossy lip stealing the show.

Another absolute icon from The White Lotus, Parker Posey was nominated for supporting actress and made sure to impress. Her smoky eye and distinctive purple lip created by make-up artist Jo Strettell, paired with her bob by hair stylist Mark Townsend, matched her lavender lace Valentino nightgown to perfection. Not to mention her 45-carat emerald! A true showstopper.

Leighton Meester’s first appearance at the Emmys in sixteen years, in support of her husband Adam Brody in Nobody Wants This, was Gossip Girl approved as she sported fabulous bangs executed by hair stylist Clariss Anya Rubenstein – Brigette Bardot style. Make-up artist Bethany Carty created a doe-eyed look, which made for gorgeous harmony with her hair.

Finally, one of the most avant-garde looks was Wednesday star Jenna Ortega, who brought Gothic glam with dark eyes and lip, showing just a hint of smoky colour to match the oversized bijouxs comprising the bodice of her Givenchy naked dress. Make-up artist Mélanie Inglessis kept her skin dewy and her freckles prominent, adding a playfulness that is to be appreciated in all its glory.
