The countdown is on to the Gallagher RDS Dublin Horse Show on August 5-9. This year’s renowned Nations Cup or Aga Khan Trophy celebrates 100 years, with over 168 classes and an impressive prize fund of almost €2,000,000.
For many, the highlight of the show is two coveted Best Dressed competitions on Ladies Day. The in-the-know Continentally Classic Most Stylish Competition is held directly after the Best Dressed Competition on August 6, with this annual launch providing inspiration for what to wear to stand out from the crowd.

A salon show representing Irish creativity and style had a special focus on linen, with designs from Kindred of Ireland‘s Amy Anderson, who has brought beetled linen to the fore; Anneliese Duffy Fallon from The Linen Shirt Company; and the late Paul Costelloe, whose archival pieces can be sourced from Curated by Design Centre.

Stunning hats and headpieces were showcased from milliners Carol Kennelly, Leonora Ferguson, FAO Millinery and Aoife Harrison. Finishing touches and accessories were provided by Paula Rowan, Vivien Walsh, Melissa Curry, Mary K, Grainne Maher and Helen Hayes.
Guests included Lorraine Keane with her daughter Emilia Devlin, Penny McCormick, Sara O’Neill, Roxanne Parker, Helen Steele, Celia Holman Lee, Cathy O’Connor, Debbie O’Donnell, Rosalind Lipsett, Maura O’Neill, Nadine King, Ashling Kilduff, Dee Woods, Ashley McDonnell and Kwanele Nomoyi.
