The star of Chanel’s Coco Beach 2022 campaign Margaret Qualley embraces the spirit of summer in the brand’s latest short film, shot by Lachlan Bailey. The actress, known for her roles in Once Upon A Time In … Hollywood and Maid, shines in Chanel looks that ticks all the holiday essentials on our wishlist; an enchanting lace swimsuit with pearl details, leather CC-embellished sandals and the perfect pair of ultra-flattering cycling shorts. Pretty much the dream Mediterranean look, if you ask us. 

When asked about her beachside essentials, Qualley walks the line between high-octane glamour and low-fi comforts. “Am I allowed to just say this collection plus some sneakers, sunscreen and a few books? Because that is my dream scenario,” she says.

The Coco Beach collection is an offshoot created by Karl Lagerfeld in 2018 to celebrate Gabrielle Chanel’s love of sea, sun and the great outdoors.
