There’s a host of new Irish brands at Arnotts that range from thoughtful, considered basics to statement-making staples …
Arnotts has introduced a slew of new brands for 2021 – including Danish favourite Stella Nova and purveyor of sustainable faux fur jackets Jakke; the department store launched the season with comfortable shapes, smart tailoring and muted, pleasing tones.
Now, in a championing of indigenous design, it has added nine Irish designers to its autumn winter offering. The new labels run the gamut of maximalist accessories to classic tailoring, to pieces that speak to the Irish landscape.

Tailoring label The Landskein is made by fifth-generation weavers in Co Donegal.
The Landskein, made by fifth generation weavers in Donegal, is home to sharp tailoring and forever coats, while Irish-designed bags and shoes by The Nicki Hoyne Collection – choose from glitter or colourful leather flats, all in point-toe shapes – are sure to make a statement. Landa, the brainchild of Argentina-born, Dublin-based Silvana Landa is a bag label that excels at leather totes and crossbodies, influenced by her cobbler grandfather.

Shop To Dye For By Johanna for mood-boasting loungewear and athleisure pieces.
Athleisure lovers will gravitate towards To Dye For By Johanna, a new label known for comfortable sweats and laidback luxe sweatshirts. We love its reasonably-priced tees for a pop of colour. Next to fledgling brands, there are Irish design stalwarts, too. AndTate is the new label from storied designer Sharon Hoey, with husband and business partner Richard Tate, that celebrates classic, monochromatic dressing. (Think forever pieces over fads.) While art-meets-fashion brand Begley and Bowie shares bold and whimsical pieces featuring hand drawn prints by founder and designer, Doireann Healy.

The classic white shirt, reimagined, is just one of the staples to shop from AndTate.
When it comes to accessories, there’s handwoven scarves by Dingle-made label Fiadh, jewellery by Yvonne Ryan and socks that feel that little bit special from Sock Co-Op – each pair cheerily depicts a famous Irish landmark. Shop Irish design at Arnotts here.

Inspired by her cobbler grandfather, Argentina-born Silvana Landa created Landa, a label for everyday chic leather bags, based out of Dublin.
