At long last we’re boarding airplanes again and heading off to sunny destinations for some much needed R&R. Then add some easy breezy kaftans that can be worn from day to night, comfortable sandals that can be dressed up or down, a couple of swimsuits and some simple accessories to switch up your looks. One pair of shorts and one pair of trousers will do with a selection of tops that work with both. Wear your heavier layers (sweater, jeans, light jacket) on the airplane so they don’t take up room in your luggage. Make use of the additional personal item allowed by most airlines and bring your beach tote on board, you’ll likely be able to throw in some last-minute pieces (or airport buys) with plenty of room to spare for travel documents and flight essentials.
