A gala to welcome three new venues to the distinguished collection …
Comprising charming country houses, historic hotels and gourmet restaurants, Ireland’s Blue Book is an indispensable guide to some of the country’s most enchanting hospitality experiences. CEO Michelle Maguire recently hosted a gala dinner in the elegant surroundings of Tankardstown House, Co Meath.
Guests included hotel owners and general managers, among them Adriaan Bartels of Cashel Palace, Fern Allen of Ballymaloe House, Suzanne Mullen from Station House Hotel, Catherine Dundon of Dunbrody House and Grainne Ross of Dylan Dublin who enjoyed a Taittinger champagne reception before dining in Tankardstown’s exquisite Orangery.
This year’s gala also marked a special occasion as the association officially welcomed three new five-star members to its distinguished collection: Cliff House Hotel, Co Waterford, Dunluce Lodge, Co Antrim and Dylan Hotel in Dublin. All are acknowledged for their individuality, warm welcome and commitment to memorable guest experiences.
Cliff House Hotel seems to defy gravity, clinging to a cliff on the south side of Ardmore Bay. This boutique property with 38 rooms, also features an intimate destination spa as well as a one Michelin-star restaurant.
Situated alongside the fourth fairway at the world famous Royal Portrush Golf Club, Dunluce Lodge provides some of the most beautiful scenery that Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast has to offer.
Soulful and luxurious, Dylan Hotel Dublin is a refined urban hideaway known for its innovative design, original artworks, imaginative dining and beautiful accommodation. All three of the new properties promise pitch perfect relaxation and a five-star experience in keeping with the other 64 members of the book.
