Everyone’s Favourite French Fashion Brand Is Popping Up At Brown Thomas This Week

if effortless bohemia is your bag, then this is for you …

Isabel Marant is arguably the woman who created French girl chic. Although, the storied designer and native Parisian would likely bristle at that kind of terminology. Especially given that since the brand launched in 1995 there have been a slew of Gallic brands wrestling for that same status. Laid-back, feminine and edgy, Marant’s pieces give off an I’m-with-the-band cool that is at once polished and zero-effort. Now, there’s a chance to immerse yourself in all things Marant as the brand launches a pop-up this week at Brown Thomas, Dublin.

Leather trousers, €1,990, and top €1,090, both Isabel Marant at Brown Thomas.

White blouse, €1,090, and jeans €790, both Isabel Marant at Brown Thomas.

Kicking off on April 21 and running until June 9, the pop-up will showcase the latest collection of Isabel Marant womenswear, shoes and accessories, from the brand’s spring summer 2023 collection. Speaking of the collection, it delivers on all of that trademark bohemia we’ve come to know and love from Marant – think embroidery, crochet, fringing, as well as floaty peasant blouses alongside some Y2k references like low-slung cargo pants, crop tops and faded camo prints. However, I’d wager it’s likely the form-fitting leather trousers, that look perfect with a skinny heel, are still what tops everyone’s wish-list all these seasons later. Or the suede cowboy boots, which will never not look good with a printed midi-dress. (Although Gen Z will fight you off for one of the branded baseball caps which scream quiet luxury.)

Catch the pop-up on Level One of the Grafton Street store from Friday April 21.
