The looks that caught our attention at CPHFW …
As expected, bright colours dominated showgoers’ looks at Copenhagen, with shades of candyfloss pink, raspeberry and cherry red spotted outside designer presentations and runway events. Meanwhile, micro-trends played into novel shapes and silhouettes. Think: ruching on tops, pantaloon-style trousers and split-toe ballet flats.
At Stella Nova, the brand which delivered a SS26 presentation aboard a ship replete with champagne, summer tunes and its nautical-themed new season collection, attendees embraced maximalist dressing. Argyle knits clashed with fringed sequin skirts, while utility trousers got a dash of something extra care of a scallop trim. Guests accessorised with caged plastic shoppers and fun, sailor-style faux tattoos.

Naturally, it wouldn’t be fashion week without a rogue sighting of The Row’s Dune flip-flops in the wild. (In case you missed it, the normcore footwear choice has been announced the most popular buy of the season.) Footwear choices aside, we love the idea of a handkerchief hem dress in a soft broderie fabric worn over trousers – chic!
