Irish design collaborations, pre-loved designer sales and much more for fashionistas …
Six Roads
Pop into Brown Thomas Dublin for the rolling calendar of fashion events by Irish designers, part of CREATE 2026, which runs until August 26. Each of the participating designers has been mentored by Eddie Shanahan, known for his expertise in nurturing emerging talent. Six Roads opens the showcase with its The Art of the Dance collection, inspired by the grace and power of the Andalusian horse. Think: voluminous silhouettes, and a palette of ivory, ebony and lush greens in sweeping ball-gown box-pleat skirts, sheer pussy-bow blouses and fluid crepe dresses. @six_roads_womenswear

Luxury Exchange
Over two decades, Irish entrepreneur and philanthropist Linda Kiely has quietly built an impressive private designer wardrobe. She’s now parting with some of her most coveted pieces in aid of two charities – My Lovely Horse Rescue and St Luke’s Home, Cork. This one-day charity shopping event, in partnership with Luxury Exchange, takes place at Studio 10 in Dublin on July 18. Expect to find more than 300 pieces – from gowns to accessories – by Chanel, Dior, Balmain, Gucci, Tom Ford and many more, valued at over €150,000. Prices begin at just €29, up to €5,000. Linda Kiely says: “Clothes are never just clothes to me. They are part of how I step into the world, into work, into celebrations, and into all the ordinary days in between. I have loved these pieces and the memories attached to them, but it feels right now that they should have another life. I hope whoever finds something in the collection wears it with joy; I am very happy that the sale will support two causes that mean so much to our family.”
