7 Spring Outfits We’d Like To Try This Weekend

Spring has sprung according to these palatable looks …

The sun is shining, the daffodils are blooming – why not let your wardrobe feel a little spring? This inbetween time can be a little hard to dress for: you’re crying out to ditch the same knits you’ve been wearing since November but the temperatures aren’t yet playing ball. The solution? Sneak in a bit of spring while wearing your winter old reliables. We’ve rounded up our favourite looks right now that hint at some lightness.

Some trench coat inspiration comes from Danish model Cecilie Moosgaard Nielsen – who is also reviving our love of square-toe ankle boots.

Upgrade navy or herringbone blazers to trusty camel. Owner of Dublin boutique Seagreen, Sarah Gill, tips the Quinn blazer by Anine Bing (shop it here) as her key piece of the season. The classic camel shade makes it a forever buy, while the wool-cashmere composition makes it perfect for March temperatures.

We’ll take Lucy Williams’ forest green jeans by JW Anderson any day (and her delightful blue kitchen, too).

There is something perfectly spring-like about a short-sleeved jacket. Even better if it has a nostalgic peg button. Layer the quilted Provence jacket by Skall Studio (seen above) underneath a heavy coat, or wear it on its own when lounging around the house.

Shake up winter staples with a spring shoe, such as a clog or a mule, for a relaxed weekend look.

A pair of cotton-poplin trousers feels very spring-like. (Even if you may be layering them with coats/hoodies/knits for the time being.) We love how Camille Charrière pairs hers with heels and pearls, too. Shop similar here.

There’s no escaping Birkenstocks for the forseeable. Invest in a pair now and they’ll look perfectly lived-in by summertime.
