Fashion from Dublin and Kildare to Kerry …
Parisian style has spawned a whole library of fashion books dedicated to decoding its covetable charm. One of my favourites is Parisian Chic by Inès de la Fressange. Her failsafe tips include mixing affordable basics with high fashion touches. Avoiding monograms and playing with proportions are also essential to nailing the look. So, too, is knowing your cool girl labels – none more so than Sézane, created by Morgane Sézalory, whose bestselling items include the versatile Gaspard sweater (worn backwards), romantic Chlo shirts and classic Scott trench coat. The brand also aces accessories, from bags (check the Milo and Claude) to boots (see the Garance red boots). Fortunately, for Irish devotees there’s no need to fly to Paris or London to shop the brand as it’s launching an exclusive pop-up at Brown Thomas Dublin from November 6 until January 4 2026. Shoppers will also find a limited edition holiday collaboration with Antoinette Poisson – another Parisian known for her enviable stationery, fabrics and decorative items.
Sweater weather is officially here, especially a luxurious piece from Madigan Cashmere. Pop into the Chupi boutique in Powerscourt Townhouse, Dublin 2 over the weekend of November 6 to 8, where designer Elaine Madigan will be on hand to discuss her latest collection of cashmere coats, cardigans, Arans and capes, in addition to her silk and velvet separates.
Fashion Relief in Blackrock, Co Dublin is something of an insider gem: a pre-loved boutique where visitors are likely to find designer pieces, eveningwear and accessories, all arranged by colour. Founded by Lorraine Keane to raise funds for Breast Cancer Ireland, guests will have first dibs to snap up high-end and high-street treasures during a fashion show and pop-up shop at Joe Mallon Motors in Naas, Co Kildare on November 21 and into the next day. Expect a stylish day out with the chance to shop both sustainably and for charity.
London-based fashion designer Richard Malone’s collaboration with J Hill’s Standard is one of the many reasons to visit the inspiring six-week residency of Form & Fable at Wilton Park, Dublin 2 from November 12. This will bring together a carefully curated collection of Irish craft and design including handwoven textiles from Mourne Textiles, contemporary ceramics by Fermoyle Pottery, art prints and homewares by Superfolk, wool blankets by Ellie Dunne and handcrafted notebooks by Atelier Owlfeather.
Fashion designers Helen Steele and Joanne Hynes were part of the inaugural line-up of Begley & Bowie founder Doireann Healy‘s creative series celebrating community and connection. The second series promises to be an equally inspiring mix of guests including stylist Corina Gaffey, artist Ciara O’Neill and chef Rory O’Connell. The events take place in Park Hotel Kenmare, with Doireann saying; “It’s a wonderful opportunity for the audience to dress up, enjoy some bubbles and be inspired.”
By now you may have seen and heard of the fabulous luxury fashion bargains available at Reruns, which is back with its third designer sale of the year, on November 29 to 20 at the David Marshall Salon, Dublin 2. The pop-up promises to be its biggest yet, featuring a mix of luxury labels including Gucci, Chloé, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Self-Portrait. Stylist Rosalind Lipsett will be on hand to offer styling tips and advice, while all profits go to various charities, continuing Reruns’ commitment to giving back while promoting a circular, conscious approach to luxury fashion.
Irish brand Celtic Tweed will host six of its fellow CIFD members during three special shopping days at its Dublin store in Dublin 2 on November 23, 30 and December 7. Look out for handmade jewellery from Magpie Rose and luxury pyjamas from Moon+Mellow, kimonos from Éadach by Sara O’Neill, statement knitwear from Urban Aran, vibrant contemporary jewellery by Capulet & Montague and Laura Chambers’ relaxed knitted cashmere collection.
Kildare Village’s new pop-up, Number 55, is a concept store bringing together cult fashion and lifestyle labels such as accessories brand Strathberry,
