Indeed, the designer developed the idea of love and work – what Freud described as the two cornerstones of our humanness – throughout the runway show which was presented on the 28th floor of a towering building in the London skyline. Where these two ideas meet there is one perfect product – the trench coat. Once an essential for the office, now a go-to for off-duty dressing, the trench coat today plays a fluid part in every woman’s wardrobe, with the ability to be smart and low-key cool.
