Why We’re Signing Up For The Sisterhood Series

If you’re in need of a pre-summer reset of mind, body and spirit, The Sisterhood Series at Dundrum Town Centre may be just what you need …

It’s not often we get the chance to participate in a series of events and workshops with acclaimed experts such as Roxie Nafousi, aka The Manifesting Queen, Laura Dowling, aka the Fabulous Pharmacist, or enjoy a hip hop fitness dance class with Rachel Fisher to release some endorphins. This inspiring trio is part of The Sisterhood Series taking place at Dundrum Town Centre from Friday, April 21 to Sunday, April 23. Focusing on the topics of health and wellbeing, parenting and hormones, The Sisterhood Series unfolds across three days in tandem with some prenatal yoga classes at FFS Gym at Dundrum Town Centre.

Participating experts include health coach Georgie Crawford, who is the founder of one of Ireland’s leading health and wellness brands, The Good Glow. Her award-winning podcasts, The Good Glow and Soul Sisters have had over nine million downloads. Who better to help motivate us to take better care of ourselves? Georgie believes by sharing her experiences she can help others to prioritise their wellbeing and create an impact on both their personal and professional lives.

You may have heard Cork-based Dr Doireann O’Leary on The Last Word on Today FM and The Today Show on RTÉ. Dr Doireann is passionate about women’s health which she shares on her eponymous podcast. She’s also a LARC (long-acting reversible contraception) provider and registered cervical smear taker, so eminently qualified to speak about female health and wellbeing issues.

Aromatherapist Peigin Crowley’s credentials are also second-to-none. Having designed the acclaimed spa at Adare Manor and developed the private label spa brand for The Cliff House Hotel, her Ground Wellbeing brand is now found in The Rosewood in Hong Kong, St Barth, Hawaii as well as The Four Seasons in Boston, Whistler and Toronto and The Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills and Edinburgh. Her products, which now have cult status, reflect her expertise and passion for promoting purposeful self-care. They address issues such as fertility, anxiety, menopause, insomnia, and gut health.

Pharmacist and mum-of-three Laura Dowling (aka Fabulous Pharmacist) is passionate about sharing her knowledge of all things health-related in an accessible, relatable manner via her Instagram channel. With a degree from Trinity College Dublin and almost 20 years’ experience under her belt, Laura aims to give her avid followers the tools to live a balanced, healthy lifestyle without resorting to short-term crazes or fads. Whether talking about skin concerns, constipation, female incontinence or mental health, Laura aims to educate her followers and shine a light on topics that people can often shy away from.

Self-development coach Roxie Nafousi’s debut book Manifest: 7 Steps to Living Your Best Life has become a global success since it was published in 2022, and is widely regarded as the must-have guide to manifestation. It has been translated into 22 languages and has spent 25 weeks in the Sunday Times Bestseller charts. Roxie’s much anticipated follow-up book Manifest: Dive Deeper has already received acclaim and continues her commitment and dedication to transforming the lives of people who suffer with emotional and mental-health issues, helping them to fulfil their potential.

Sarah Sproule, is a mother of three teens, with two decades experience as a therapist and a masters in sexuality studies. She uses her skills as an occupational therapist and sex educator to ensure every parent and caring adult knows how to nurture deeper connection with their growing kid(s).

These six fabulous speakers in The Sisterhood Series are united by love, learning and womanhood. They will be leading talks and workshops across the weekend, from April 21-23 in The Apartment at Brown Thomas. To sign up for a newsletter and register for these events see below for details.
