The unforgettable sisters finally return for season two of our favourite series …
Bad Sisters on Apple TV+
Fans of the darkly comedic drama executive-produced and starring BAFTA award-winning Sharon Horgan will delight in the news that season two is on Apple TV+ now. The first two episodes in the eight episode series debuted on November 13, followed by one to be released every Wednesday until December 25. That’s after Christmas dinner viewing sorted!
It’s a blessing in disguise that the episodes are staggered because as soon as we dive into the world of the hilariously menacing Garvey sisters, we simply can’t switch off. We like the idea of saving them all to watch at once, but who has that willpower?!
The second season is as wonderfully twisted as the first, which was based on Belgian series Clan (broadcast on Channel 4 as The Out-Laws), while this iteration comes directly from Horgan’s beautiful mind. We can’t wait to see how this turns out …
The story picks up two years after the first with the sisters – played expertly by Horgan alongside Eve Hewson, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle and Sarah Greene – when past truths resurface and the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight. Suspicions are at an all-time high as they’re forced to work out who they can trust.
The new deadly focus? Duff’s new husband, played by Owen McDonnell, from hit show Killing Eve, and from where another new cast member joins, Fiona Shaw.
Okay, we promise, no more spoilers – watch the first two episodes this weekend and let us know what you think @theglossmag.
