How to nail party season style …
The High Heel: We’ve become so obsessed with corsages we’re now wearing them on our shoes. It’s well timed, as we know the party season is the perfect time to go all out on embellishment. Rosebud-trimmed heels in satin and velvet are trending from brands like Na-kd and Mango. On the Saint Laurent catwalk, they were worn with dramatic pussybow blouses and leather mini skirts. At Dior they mingle with satin, high-shine finishes, and at Magda Butrym they’re teamed with elegant pearls. We say, the more bells and whistles, the merrier!

The Tights: Tights so good they demand a double take are trending now. Perfect for dinners out, after work parties (and the unforgiving Irish weather), busy patterns and lace-look textures are trending, alongside plain black (just don’t venture above 20 denier). They look coolest when worn with pointed-toe slingback kitten heels. Look to Falke, Cos and M&S for good styles. Does this mean we can officially skip fake tan?
