The story of @georgebryanjewellers, a family-run Irish business spanning three generations, starts with George, a master goldsmith who meticulously designs and manufactures fine jewellery. He now works with his daughter Holly Bryan D.G.A, who is a designer and gemologist.
In 1978, George graduated to master goldsmith in Hatton Garden, London, after he had started his goldsmithing apprenticeship at Appleby’s of Dublin. In 1983, he joined his father-in-law at his company Seymour Racing Services, and it was then that he displayed his first pieces in the Equestrian Collection; the horse brooches. They were an immediate success. It was rare to see fine jewellery celebrating horses that had such acute attention to detail, so George Bryan Jewellers was officially formed. The rest is history, as they say.
Specialising in equine jewellery, George Bryan Jewellers also offer delightfully unique collections that include ethical diamonds, and everyday pieces in solid gold and silver. Some collections take inspiration from architecture, sports, nature and the maritime world, with George Bryan’s expertise, accuracy and emphasis on quality remaining the cornerstone in every collection.
This year, their focus is on their new Celestial Collection, which features diamond engagement rings that grace their Instagram. The carbon neutral diamonds are created in conditions that mimic how diamonds are formed under the earth’s core; making their chemical composition the exact same as a mined diamond.
The engagement rings boast the family’s design skills with meticulous attention to quality and details, with round, pear and oval cuts. In true Bryan family spirit, they have also designed an Equestrian engagement ring which features a subtle horseshoe.The Celestial collection includes delicate chains with sculptural constellation disk pendants and initial disk pendants. The silver and gold diamond-set designs, beginning at €140, are sprinkled with sustainable diamonds, emulating stars in the night’s sky.
