THE GLOSS X The Shopkeepers Best Shops in Ireland

THE GLOSS and Theshopkeepers.com launch 2022 Best Shops Ireland campaign – and we want to hear from you …

THE GLOSS loves independent, one-of-a-kind shops, shops that have a special place in their neighbourhood and that feel authentic because of their unique take on products and merchandising. Ireland’s best independent shops create an engaging and interesting experience for visitors and locals alike. Even within a city, an independent shop can feel like a local neighbourhood shop. “Best Shops? are the shops that keep our villages, towns and cities vibrant and individual.

This year, as we recognise the challenges for small businesses, we are partnering with Theshopkeepers.com to find and celebrate unique, creative and inspiring independent shops. Extraordinary retailers, from coffee and flower sellers to bookshops and markets. Stores that delight with discovery and inspire browsing. Shops that we visit when we travel around the country or local ones that we love to return to again and again.

We believe it is important to continue to support our communities of local, small and independent shopkeepers that keep our towns and villages vital. Whether in real life or online.

We want to discover lots of lovely shops via your nominations. While we can’t include every shop on our list in print (it would be way too long!) with the help of our expert panel, we intend to shine a spotlight on the best. So, if you have discovered a fabulous shop, whether it’s a coffee shop, a flower and plant shop, food shop or market, menswear or womenswear boutique, accessories or beauty shop or a vintage, interiors, lifestyle or antique shop, we want you to share your knowledge with us! To see more visit www.thegloss.ie/bestshops/.

Travelling around Ireland this summer? If you discover a very special shop you want to support by sharing, submit your nomination using the form below. Or follow us on Instagram @theglossmag and tag your favourite shop using #TheGlossBestShops.

She is the queen of no makeup makeup and even manages to make a smokey eye look subtle. When everyone else was going for heavy contour and laminated eyebrows, she continued to promote enhancing your natural features with simple tricks and smart product placement. If you have seen any of her videos, you will notice how little product she actually uses. Even Victoria Beckham commented how surprised she was when she went to remove her makeup after a shoot with Lisa on how little product was applied.
