Meet de Savary London: your go-to for decadent outerwear for this season and beyond …
At a recent gathering to toast the arrival of de Savary London to Ireland, a glance around the room saw a wash of women in mocha blazers, sleek leather trenches and belted leather jackets executed in rich oxblood. Of course, it wasn’t really the first time Irish customers had access to the luxury outerwear label – it’s been in the mix for a couple of years with some of the country’s top influencers, plus the label enjoys plenty of Irish customers at its current pop up on London’s King’s Road – but this lunch was to celebrate the official launch of delivery to Ireland, without taxes and duties.
Formerly known as Jane & Tash, before rebranding to de Savary London in 2024, founder Tash de Savary describes what she does with the brand as a constant quest for individuality. Buoyed by memories of snapping up a distinctive motif leather jacket in Amsterdam in her youth, de Savary set about creating a capsule outerwear collection (which has now expanded to tailoring, blouses and accessories) that pushed the needle in terms of contemporary coating. There are ankle length trench coats in brown suede, statement leather jackets in refined but oversized shapes (with a hint of the new Chloé collections) and chestnut blazers with slightly inflated shoulders, all of which nail a certain kind of power dressing that’s fitting for 2025. The fabrics are decadent, too; with shaggy-chic shearling, mob-wife Mongolian fur and super-soft suede making up the core of the collection. Shop an edit of the brand’s luxurious coats below.
