THE BRAND
Sculpted by Aimee appeals to all ages. Having worked as a make-up tutor and as a bridal make-up artist, Connolly explains, “all I knew was all ages”. When she started the brand, in 2016, while working as a freelance make-up artist, she was aware of so many clients having the same concerns: feeling overwhelmed by the sheer choice of beauty products on offer and not knowing how to cut through. She has kept to her ethos of keeping things simple, with multitasking products that work. Sculpted recently gained B Corp certification, via its rigorous process.
THE BUZZ
Sculpted recently released the Cream Cushion foundation (€32), a nifty way to perfect your complexion on the go. It features hydrating active ingredients and SPF30 protection, and comes in 30 shades.

THE GIFT COLLECTION
Sculpted’s gift range is broad, with a focus on good value for money; prices range from €19-€65. Sets range from skincare minis (including a much-requested CloudCleanse travel size) to brush sets. WHAT’S NEXT?
Connolly is heading back to South Korea to spend time in the labs – a favourite part of the role and one she describes as both creatively inspiring. There will also be a brand refresh, with a new look that keeps the signature pink. Next year will see a key Sculpted hero being reimagined, a make-up plus skincare item with an “evolved formula” made, as always, in South Korea.
