With covetable outfits featuring in each episode, watching season two of Netflix’s rom-com Nobody Wants This often feels like a game of spot the trending brand or viral product. As with season one, the costuming in the show is elevated but off-duty and feels quintessentially LA in tone, with wearable mid-range labels like Reformation, & Daughter, Mansur Gavriel and Sézane featured throughout.
For season two, the fashion remains pleasingly on track. Although, there’s one notable difference: the character of Morgan (played by Justine Lupe) has as many enviable outfit moments as her sister Joanne (played by Kristen Bell). In fact, one could argue Morgan’s laissez-faire style (and her comedic timing) often steals the scene in the ten-part series. In one scene, Lupe wears a perfectly distressed leather jacket teamed with a silk camisole, high-waisted jeans and a suede Sézane cross-body bag: we immediately reached for our phones to find the source of the jacket.
