IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CIRCLE CLUB
Discover how membership to the exclusive Circle Club at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is your ticket to gaining access to the sold-out phenomenon, Hamilton and other cultural highlights this autumn…
This autumn is packed with cultural highlights; the upcoming shows in Bord Gáis Energy Theatre’s exciting autumn 2024 programme comprise Broadway and West End musicals, inspiring operas, emotive dramas and world-renowned ballets.
Arguably, the most sought-after ticket in town is to see Lin-Manuel Miranda’s multi award-winning musical Hamilton, which runs from September 17 to November 16, and has been the recipient of eleven Tony Awards including Best Musical, seven Olivier Awards, the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album.
Irish audiences can learn more about the story of America’s Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of the America we know today. The score blends toe-tapping hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway music – the story of America then, as told by America now.
Tickets are already sold out, but a last opportunity to secure tickets is via Bord Gáis Energy Theatre’s chic Circle Club, which allows members to experience the performance from the best-in-house seats and, in the process, transforms your overall theatre experience.
Let’s face it – theatre trips sound good in theory but in reality, are often more about a quick change in the office and a dash from work without dinner. With the Circle Club, stress is alleviated; membership grants access to a table in the private lounge for the evening, perfect for pre-theatre dinner and post-show drinks, while enjoying views over Grand Canal Square.
It’s a gorgeous space which enriches any visit to the Daniel Libeskind-designed theatre. The décor of the Circle Club Lounge was inspired by the elegance of the Roaring Twenties. Red lacquered tabletops, graphic chevron carpets, jewel-toned club chairs, velvet banquettes and statement artwork create a sense of occasion and exclusivity. Any midweek visit becomes an occasion, and any work-related stress dissolves as soon as guests are seated at their (posh) tables.
If you are a member, or a guest of a member, you can experience a carefully choreographed dining experience, without any sense of urgency. Arriving at 6pm for a 7.30pm show start, two courses are served before the show begins, while dessert is waiting (with additional drinks) during the interval. It works brilliantly; the menu and wine list are both superb. The menu, covering light bites to more substantial entrées, is served by attentive staff; each group has a dedicated host or hostess, adding to the sense of exclusivity. Post-show, members can return to the Circle Club for a night cap.
Access to these private spaces is offered as part of four tiered memberships. There are options to suit all types of theatre fans and their budgets. Membership options range from the Patron Circle, perfect for couples and regular attendees, to the Directors Circle, for client entertainment and larger groups. Most importantly, membership can be shared with anyone in your organisation – clients, suppliers, colleagues and friends. Regardless of the tier you choose, membership of The Circle Club is a stylish, seamless experience in an in-the-know venue that will impress on dates, family outings or corporate events.
With Circle Club membership you are guaranteed tickets to the sold-out musical Hamilton – quite a coup and one not to be overlooked!
