Irish Champions Festival wrapped up in style after two spectacular days at Leopardstown on September 13 and The Curragh on September 14.
Recognised as one of the world’s premier flat racing festivals, the two-day event featured Ireland’s best racehorses, trainers and jockeys competing against international challengers for over €5 million in prize money across a top-class programme that included six Group 1 contests.
With style on and off the track, broadcaster and Olympian Greg O’Shea and his fiancée, model Jeanni Mulder, joined the judging panels across both days.
At Leopardstown, Jenny Ryan from Co Roscommon was crowned Champion Style winner by stylists Aoife Dunican (aka The Style Bob) and Sarah Kate Byrne. She took home a weekend in London for two at boutique Kensington hotel, The Exhibitionist courtesy of luxury hotel group, Ardán Collective.
Representing the gentlemen, Dublin-based Kwanele Nomoyi won a bespoke Louis Copeland made-to-measure suit.
At The Curragh, stylist Marietta Doran and The Style Fairy Naomi Clarke crowned Eilis Dempsey from Co Galway at the Rosé & Runway event. She won a two-night stay at The Europe Hotel & Resort in Co Kerry and a magnum of Whispering Angel rosé as sponsor.
