The Ireland Funds Rugby Lunch 2024 took place in The Shelbourne Hotel on Friday February 9. Now in its 15th year, the Rugby Lunch is an annual event that honours the careers of remarkable rugby players, both on and off the pitch, while raising funds to support the work of The Ireland Funds. This year it honoured Ireland and Munster rugby legend, Keith Earls.
Guests of the Rugby Lunch included leaders in business, academia, culture and philanthropy. This year they included Andrew Trimble, former Ireland and Ulster rugby player, Mick McCarthy, former Ireland football coach, Professor Deirdre Heenan, former Provost and Dean of Academic Development, Ulster University as well as Oscar winner James Martin and Michael and Niamh Flatley.
